As a child, I often found myself staring out the classroom window, much to the great annoyance of my teachers, who seemed baffled by my frequent daydreaming. No other kid in my class was called out for drifting off as much as I was, and I had no context for why my mind wandered the way it did. Reading My Wandering Dreaming Mind was like revisiting my own childhood—it perfectly captured an experience I had long struggled to understand.
